HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise Platform and Operational Notes

This page covers behaviors specific to a managed HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise deployment. These behaviors are not part of the network access or feature-availability references.

Console and Platform Availability

Today, HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise clusters are available in the HiveMQ Cloud Console. You manage and view your clusters through the Cloud Console.

Cloud Enterprise clusters will soon also appear in the HiveMQ Platform.

HiveMQ Platform availability for Cloud Enterprise clusters is upcoming. Until then, manage your clusters through the Cloud Console.

Control Center

HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise users have access to Control Center v1 (CCv1). To learn what the Control Center provides, see the HiveMQ Control Center documentation.

HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise customers are on Control Center v1 (CCv1) today. Migration to Control Center v2 (CCv2) is planned and rolls out on a per-customer basis, coordinated through your Technical Account Manager (TAM) or Customer Success Manager (CSM). CCv2 migration is not automatic.

Data Intelligence Eligibility

HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise clusters are eligible for the HiveMQ Data Intelligence layer.

Enabling Data Intelligence for a cluster is not self-service. Two conditions apply: the cluster runs the latest version, and HiveMQ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) provides a connection key.

To enable Data Intelligence for a HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise cluster, contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM), Customer Success Manager (CSM), or HiveMQ support. You cannot enable Data Intelligence yourself.

Environments

HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise supports separate production, staging, and development environments. Environments are purchased as part of your subscription and are not included by default. Each environment you purchase has its own environment listener.

When your subscription includes a staging environment, it can be scaled to the size of the production environment for up to 5 days per month, on request. This is useful for production-scale testing before a release. To arrange staging scale-up, contact your account team or HiveMQ support at least 3 working days in advance.
