Organization

An Organization is the top-level account container in the HiveMQ Platform. The organization owns your HiveMQ licenses, team membership, and billing information.

From the Organization menu, you can manage the following areas:

  • Team members and their roles

  • Licenses and subscription plans

  • Billing information

Use Account to manage your user profile, privacy settings, and general platform preferences.

Team Roles

The HiveMQ Platform uses role-based access control (RBAC) to define what each team member can do. The following roles are available:

Role Description

Owner

Unrestricted access to the organization and all its settings. Can manage members, billing, and all broker configurations.

Admin

Can manage brokers, access control, and API tokens. Has access to organization settings and billing.

Viewer

Read-only access to brokers and organization details. Can view API tokens and manage their own profile.
