Assign User Roles and Permissions

Change the organization role of a team member in the HiveMQ Platform. Roles determine what each team member can see and do in the platform.

Assign a role to a new team member during the invitation flow. For more information, see Invite Team Members.

Before You Begin

You need Owner role access to change a team member’s role.

Steps

  1. Select the Organization menu.

  2. Select Organizational Profile.

  3. Select Team.

  4. Select the team member whose role you want to change.

  5. Select a new role from the Role list.

  6. Click Save.

The team member’s role updates immediately.
