Invite Team Members

Invite people to join your organization in the HiveMQ Platform. Each person receives an email invitation with access to the organization at the role you select.

Before You Begin

You need Owner or Admin role access to invite team members. For a description of available roles, see Organization.

Steps

  1. Select the Organization menu.

  2. Select Organizational Profile.

  3. Select Team.

  4. Click + Invite Member.

  5. On Invite Member, enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

  6. Select one of the following roles:

    Role Description

    Owner

    Unrestricted access to the organization and all its settings. Can manage members, billing, and all broker configurations.

    Admin

    Can manage brokers, access control, and API tokens. Has access to organization settings and billing.

    Viewer

    Read-only access to brokers and organization details. Can view API tokens and manage their own profile.

  7. Click Send invite.

HiveMQ sends an invitation email to the address you entered. The person appears in your Team list as pending until they accept.
