Install HiveMQ Software on Azure

Deploy a HiveMQ broker cluster on Azure using the HiveMQ ARM Quickstart Template.

To access the Azure deployment wizard, follow the steps in Add HiveMQ Software, then select Azure.

Before You Begin

You need the following accounts:

Steps

  1. Open the HiveMQ ARM Quickstart Templates on GitHub.

  2. Click Deploy to Azure.

  3. Follow the Azure deployment guide to configure and launch your broker cluster.

  4. Open http://<host>:8080 in a browser, where <host> is the public IP address or hostname of your Azure instance.

  5. Log in to the HiveMQ Control Center with the following default credentials:

    Username

    admin

    Password

    hivemq

    MQTT clients can connect on port 1883.

  6. Add your HiveMQ Platform license to unlock full broker capabilities. See Install a HiveMQ License.
